How can I delete a tenant altogether and reenter as new in AppFolio?

AppFolio User question: We just onboarded a new tenant with some wrong data, and would like to delete this tenant altogether and reenter as new. Is there anyway to do this?

APM Help Answer: You will simply need to make sure that any unpaid charges are reversed and then click the task on the right hand side on the tenant summary page "Hide Tenant"If the tenant has paid anything on the ledger, you will want to follow the directions in this Help Article to direct you on how to move the funds from their current ledger to the new ledger you create: https://help.appfolio.com/s/article/Transfer-a-Deposit-to-Another-Unit-in-the-Same-Property for the depositAnd this for all other payments: https://help.appfolio.com/s/article/Correct-an-Online-Payment-Made-to-the-Wrong-Unit-Same-property
